P.R. Sarkar Centenary Project

The P.R. Sarkar Centenary project will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of P.R. Sarkar. The centenary year has been designated as May 2021 to May 2022. The main components of the project are:

1. A documentary feature-length film which will be available for download through selected platforms, yet to be decided.
2. A 100-module exhibition, downloadable online, with screen and print versions. The screen version will be for personal viewing on devices or projecting as a slideshow for group viewing. The print version will be available for printing out for local exhibitions.
3. A premium quality photo book of the best quality images which have been carefully restored and optimised for the occasion.

Highlights:

I coordinate the Digital Archive which includes this documentary in development and the work of the P. R. Sarkar Centenary project. The archival material related to P. R. Sarkar is being collected from around the world and we have also had access to the most comprehensive and complete collection of archival material.
