Marcus Bussey: The Cosmic Curriculum

Dr Marcus Bussey taught in primary and high schools from 1984-2003. In this period he developed his approach to neohumanist education as a cosmic curriculum that integrated all aspects of learning into an evolutionary narrative. He used storytelling, play, music, dance, the visual arts, outdoor adventuring, cooking, and craft as ways to keep students engaged and loving learning. He moved into university teaching in 2004 and has maintained Neohumanism and the Cosmic Curriculum as his backdrop to higher education pedagogy. His edited book, with Dr Camila Mozzini-Alister, Phenomenologies of Grace, is a recent celebration of this approach.
